Providing customers with colocation and ISP services.

Africa Data Centres, a business of Cassava Technologies, a pan-African technology group, is pleased to announce that ipNX, one of Nigeria’s leading Internet Service Providers (ISPs), has established a presence in its data centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

The partnership will enable ipNX to provide colocation and ISP services from Africa Data Centres’ state-of-the-art Tier III data centre. It will further cement Africa Data Centres as the de facto hub of Nigeria’s Internet.

Segun Okuneye, Divisional CEO, ipNX Business says, “We are delighted to partner with Africa Data Centres to meet the connectivity needs of corporate enterprises and public institutions across all economic sectors in Nigeria on their quest towards digital transformation. As the demand for remote cloud-based data processing and storage steadily increases, this partnership will enable us to provide customers with a highly reliable, designed-to-suit high-speed connectivity to the data centres. Allowing them to focus on the growth and productivity of their businesses”.

“ipNX has a reputation in the market for providing Nigerian customers with high quality, reliable internet services,” Okuneye adds. “Africa Data Centres, the largest pan-African network of interconnected data centre facilities, was the natural choice of partner, as we needed an organisation that has the same vision as we do, one that mirrors our levels of customer service, and understands how critical reliability is for today’s businesses”.

ipNX is one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing ICT businesses, serving a wide variety of needs across enterprises, small businesses, and even homes through innovative, world-class services. Their ability to identify, satisfy and exceed today’s market needs is a testament to over a decade of experience, commitment, drive and passion obtained through highly skilled and well-seasoned professionals, as well as partnerships like this one signed with Africa Data Centres.

“We are thrilled to be chosen by ipNX to provide the facility for their Internet and colocation services,” adds Tesh Durvasula, CEO, Africa Data Centres. “Through this partnership with ipNX, we aim to provide better, faster, and more reliable connectivity, which will fuel tremendous economic and entrepreneurial opportunities in the region both now, and in the years to come, adds Durvasula. “The partnership is further evidence of our commitment to bridging the digital divide and filling critical connectivity infrastructure gaps”.

He continues, “Colocation services require connectivity to work, much like a car needs fuel, so the partnership with ipNX and the established point of presence will enable Africa Data Centres customers to pick up Internet capacity from them. Moreover, ipNX has several customers who have asked them to provide both colocation and connectivity services, so a partnership with us made sense on every level”.

This is just one of the many partnerships Africa Data Centres is forming with leading connectivity providers on the continent. Africa Data Centres aims to connect Africa, to put the region on a sustainable development path, and uplift its economies and citizens.
